Trifala, a herbal formulation originating from traditional Ayurvedic medicine, offers a unique blend of three powerful fruits: Amalaki fruit(Emblica officinalis), Bibhitaki fruit(Terminalia belerica), Haritaki fruit(Terminalia chebula). This trio forms a powerful formula widely known for its health benefits.
The Story of Organic Triphala
In Ayurveda, Triphala is used for its digestive benefits – to promote healthy digestion, relieve constipation and maintain regular bowel movements, and detoxify the body.
A healthy digestive system is essential for good health. An unbalanced and inefficient digestive system leads to a wide range of health problems as it directly weakens the immune system.
The powerful antioxidants in Triphala, especially Amalaki (Indian leaf fruit or Amla powder), may help to fight oxidative stress and protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.
Because Triphala helps to effectively remove toxins from the body, promoting detoxification and cleansing, it is used in Ayurveda for many conditions, for example as a means to reduce inflammation in arthritis and to relieve pain. Triphala has an effect on metabolism and can help with weight loss.
It has been used as a remedy for constipation due to its mild laxative effect, facilitating bowel movements without forming a dependency.
Triphala has been widely used since ancient times for oral hygiene, skin and hair health and care.
Modern research confirms Triphala’s powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and adaptogenic properties, as well as its role in preventing dental edema.
Science confirms that Triphala is a powerful three-herb formula with a wide range of effective therapeutic applications.
