APPLICATION
Sunflower oil is extracted from the seeds of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus).
Sunflower oil is composed mainly of linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fat, and oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat. Selective breeding and production processes produce oils with different proportions of fatty acids. The squeezed oil has a neutral taste. The oil is rich in vitamin E.
This oil is not suitable for frying, but will work well in salads or cold snacks.
