Unsweetened sushi vinegar, also known as Genmai Su or rice vinegar, is a versatile ingredient. It can be used not only to flavour sushi rice, but also to make delicious toppings, add moisture to baked goods in a wok, or to slightly mellow out a too-salty taste. It works well with other Japanese spices such as shoyu, tamari and sesame oil, as well as sweet additives such as ginger syrup.
Sushi vinegar is made according to authentic Japanese techniques.
Suitable for use both cold and warm.
