BioBags for organic waste are made from an innovative Mater-Bi material, with potato starch as the main component. They have “bumps” which make tying easier. Suitable for: organic and mixed waste, for use in home and municipal composting systems.
Advantages: robust and aesthetic, environmentally friendly: fully biodegradable and compostable (in accordance with the European standard EN-13432).
Their ability to decompose under composting conditions is certified by OK Compost Vincotte and Seedling DIN CERTCO.
BioBags decompose in about 45 days under composting conditions (with oxygen and specialised micro-organisms).
